New Americans reports to a New Americans Ministry Team which in turn reports to the governing board of elders called the session. New Americans Ministry is led by a team of volunteers. New Americans is funded by donations to The First Presbyterian Church of Champaign for the work of New Americans.

Help Available at Empty Tomb

Short on money and long on expenses. Here are some ways to stretch the budget when you need some help. No need?  Then tell your friends and neighbors.


Food every three months. Call Tracy at 356-7565 for a delivery of free groceries every three months.

Prescription drug costs. If you have no health insurance and need a prescription call Tuesday morning to 356-2262 between 0900 and 1130. You can get some money help every three months.

Rent or electricity. Call at 0900 Monday for help up to $30.00 for rent or utilities. 356-2262.

Free clothing and household items go to  Empty Tomb at 301 N. 4th Street on Monday through Saturday at 1:00 PM.

Free baby items. Call 356-2262.           Diapers are available every two weeks.
